Both our 16m (53 ft) sailing catamarans are equipped with four double/twin cabins in the Lower Deck, with en suite bathrooms, portholes, and rooftop pop-up skylights. The 12-passenger boat has an additional two bunk bed cabins on the Main Deck, with en suite bathrooms and a window. There is an on-board covered area for dining, an upper sun deck, and forward netting for relaxing.
Sri Lanka sailing adventures are staffed by a qualified skipper, a local cook/first mate and a G Adventures CEO. Your on-board team knows Sri Lanka extremely well and are passionate about sharing hidden secrets with their "crew”. Our cook is also very welcoming and more than happy to give informal cooking classes, while your delicious meals are being prepared in the ship's galley.
With two hulls instead of one, catamarans offer a unique twist on the traditional cruise experience. Our 54-footers handle like yachts (as you’ll find out should you opt to take over for the skipper for a spell), and with just 12 passengers spread across ample lounging-about space, they offer a comfortable and intimate way to travel.
Sri Lanka’s southern coast is home to populations of playful dolphins, humpback whales, and blue whales, depending on the season. The island also has jungles and wildlife reserves where elephants and leopard like to hang out.
